Bistro by Wolfgang Puck- Sydney Airport – FAB Award Winner 2017 for Airport Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year in APAC
The Bistro by Wolfgang Puck is the culinary brainchild of internationally-acclaimed namesake chef. The outlet in Sydney Airport’s renovated Terminal 1 was launched in collaboration with Heineken’s first Australian flagship, Heineken House. With a magnificent view over the airfield, these two F&B venues effectively work together to offer travelers an immersive experience of world-quality cuisine complemented by the signature Heineken beers.
Spearheaded by Adam Summerville, Emirates Leisure Retail Australia (ELRA) delivered a selection of brand new F&B venues to improve the hospitality experience available to passengers waiting for their flight.
The contemporary menu features a selection of Puck’s signature dishes ranging from Australian favourites to international cuisine that draws inspirations from all over the world. Expert chef Puck uses locally sourced ingredients and imaginative cooking techniques to bring his touch of casual dining to this relaxed, laid-back environment. The success of this new F&B outlet was affirmed when it won FAB’s award for the best Airport Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year in Asia Pacific.
Partnering with Heineken House, these two roll-outs achieved double success when the bar was also awarded by FAB in 2017 as the Airport Bar of the Year in APAC – a clear testimonial of the booming industry of travel F&B retail.
